Description
A payment service provider labels a merchant account high-risk if they’ve found your business account is at higher risk of chargebacks, frauds, or a large number of refunds. There are a lot of reasons, such as if you are a new merchant who has not processed any payment before or if your business is considered high-risk and has a nature of fraud (e.g., suspicious products), for example. High-risk merchant accounts have to pay higher processing fees for this risk.
